Catholic Faith Formation
Catholic Faith can be defined as both a gift of God and a human act by which the follower gives a person devotion to God and freely believes in the whole truth that God has revealed. Believers profess their faith by celebrating the sacraments, reciting the Creed, living by the Ten Commandments and performing acts of charity.
Formation can be defined as development; of taking form; the act of giving form or shape to something.
Faith Formation can be defined as our continual development of freely believing, living, praying and serving our Catholic Faith through family, liturgy, community, education and outreach.
