Training for Stephen Ministry

If you are a caring, compassionate person who enjoys helping others, Stephen Ministry could be an excellent way for you to serve God and others.

After a fifty hour training course, Stephen Ministers are assigned to someone going through a difficult time and meet about once a week with that person.

Stephen Ministers are expected to meet with a small group of other Stephen Ministers twice each month in what we call “Peer Supervision.” This is the accountability piece of Stephen Ministry.

How can I become a Stephen Minister?

1. Check out the training schedule.

3. Peg will call you and make an appointment to meet with you.
